I want to hear from residents about the impact that noisy car exhausts are having on local communities.

Vehicles that may have been modified may make ‘gunshot’ noises which have previously impacted specific parts of our community, including in Talbot Green and Llantrisant, but I’m concerned by reports of this anti-social behaviour taking place in other areas too.

Exhausts specifically designed to backfire in this way are illegal – the sound emitted by an exhaust fitted to a standard car must not exceed 80dB.
