I know many people across Pontypridd and Taff Ely are, like me, feeling extreme frustration following the news that the Prime Minister and the Chancellor have both broken the law.

During the height of the coronavirus pandemic we all made sacrifices. I heard from so many local residents who were unable to see elderly relatives, or go to funerals of loved ones. Many people lost people close to them at the hands of the virus too.

While all of this was going on, the Prime Minister and the Chancellor both broke the law by attending illegal gatherings. Not only has the Prime Minister found to be in breach of his own restrictions, he has repeatedly lied to us all about it.

Enough is enough. The Prime Minister and the Chancellor must resign immediately.

I will continue to call out this absurd behaviour at every opportunity going forward, because it cannot continue.

I hope this clarifies my position for residents across our area, on a topic I know is extremely close to many of our hearts.
